If you are an ambitious DJ and want to be successful, you’ve got to play some of Enjoy releases. That’s the law! Let us explain you why:
Drop some of Enjoy’s tunes in your DJ sets and you will be credible at once, not only for connoisseurs but also with every media guru who will eventually see in you « the next phenomena in club culture »… You will then get all the attention you deserve, earn loads, and then be able to live the glamorous life you always dreamed of.
Big names DJs already know the trick, and the most honest of them will confirm they could not make such careers without the help of Enjoy recordings, that’s a fact.
Yes it’s true, also because records by Enjoy have some side effect on the audience that need to be mentioned: Girls love it! Really, and to the point we have been reported some scenes of hysteria next to some DJ booths, most often in Japan but also in Saudi Arabia where Enjoy recordings have been banned since, just like in Vatican… Also, we must warn you that it does not affect girls only… Be careful if you have to play rugby events after-parties. Otherwise well-handled Enjoy records will just make sure you will never return alone to your hotel after the gig, no problem, but a DJ set built on Enjoy recordings only may be a bit risky…
Some of you may be already hooked on Enjoy, and it’s obviously understood why. So we recommend keeping on checking out releases of other dance labels and try to spice down your DJ-sets for a period. All these powerful Enjoy recordings are here to be used, not abused…
Such occurrence has appealed a certain amount of superstar-DJs who are today depending on Enjoy releases in order to keep up with their reputation, and it is our duty to continue supplying them. There are also a few major artists (Madonna, Cher and even Lisa Minelli…) who wanted to release their music on Enjoy Recordings, but we had to say “No thanks Madam” as a matter of integrity. We wish not to be accused of opportunism and try to stay true to our popular mission.
So if you have least of ambitions and aim at being the best in town and even further, Enjoy recordings are the “must have” cultural icons you should talk about when socialising in a VIP room or a “Première” event… Stop being naïve believing only your talent and your charisma can make it big for you. If you are a cool DJ, you must “think Enjoy” and the world will be yours, at last.
It is only your choice, but bear in mind that life will never be the same after dropping your first “Enjoy”!

For who knows about the beauty of the Catalan Coast, it is obvious it is one of the most inspirational places on this planet. If the name of Salvador Dali might ring a bell to you, Marendadisc was born in the same area than the skilled painter.
Also producing large music and multimedia events in clubs and public venues in France and Spain, this artist collective is mostly known overseas for its phonogram releases and music productions, also supplying licensed material to many established record labels like for instance Pschent/Hotel Costes.
Marendadisc has its own line of products since 2002 - simply named Marendadisc Recordings… - and has mostly released CD compilations, and more recently digital/CD albums and singles, and also a few limited fruity 7’inches. Its music catalogue consists of contributions from artists already involved in partner labels like Enjoy or Lace Recordings, as well as introducing some exclusive signings of bands/performers and on/off projects.
Many genres are considered being part of Marendadisc’s music policy: from nu-jazz, modern-folk and world-beat, to electro-pop and soul-dance, all these songs and tracks are easily combinable and should rejoice any i pod. Projects are often created out of collaborations between Catalan and foreign artists/producers, all related by the spiritual connection they have with that land of beauty called Côte Vermeille, also worldwide known for its excellent wine of Banyuls and Collioure.
The project of importance currently on the desk is French singer and song-writer Nilco’s debut long player that is promised to great attention: beautiful, interesting and touching lyrics are performed by this young and very talented young man who also plays nearly all instruments. His songs are about everyday life and personal issues, while his music reflects all his cultural influences in the most skilful way, with outstanding, smart, sweet and catchy melodies and sophisticated arrangements.
To be soon presented on Marendadisc Recordings: Turntable bad boy Raph Dumas and his Theremin will release toguether with veteran DJ Manuel Perez a mixtape including remixes and edits they have done last year. Their magic world sounds like sixties soul-pop played with a music box and a drum machine made in Africa, on top of spanking beats and shaky bass-lines.
